This 3ft cable connects a 30-pin Apple device to any standard USB Type-A port for syncing data and charging. The nickel-plated connectors resist corrosion and help maintain a stable connection over repeated use.
It works with older 30-pin devices, including iPhone models 1 through 4S, iPad, iPad 2, and iPad 3, as well as iPod Touch, Nano, Mini, and Classic models. It is not compatible with iPod Shuffle or newer Lightning-connector devices.
When charging an iPad from a computer’s USB port, keep in mind that most computer ports only supply 1 Amp, which may not be enough for reliable charging. For full charging speed, use a wall adapter rated for at least 2.1A.
