Cat5e RJ45 Keystone Jack Insert – Slim Punch-Down, White

This Cat5e keystone jack insert provides an RJ45, 8-wire connection point for network wiring installations. It snaps into any standard keystone wall plate or patch panel (sold separately) using the industry-standard rectangular port opening, and works with the flexible mounting tabs found on NEMA-compliant plates.

The front of the jack is a standard RJ45 connector, while the rear uses punch-down type terminals for connecting individual wires. A plastic punch-down tool is included to seat the wires into place. Basic knowledge of network wiring and punch-down termination is recommended before installing this jack.

Its slim profile keeps the insert’s rear width narrower than standard jacks, making it easier to fit multiple inserts into a crowded keystone plate without wires or connectors interfering with each other.
