These modular connectors are designed for terminating CAT5E twisted pair cable using a pass-through design. Wires are inserted through the connector and extend out the front, letting you visually confirm correct wiring order before crimping.
Once verified, the connector is pulled back down over the cable jacket and seated tightly against it, which shortens the distance between the wire twists and the contacts. This improves electrical performance and termination reliability while reducing wasted crimps and scrap.
A compatible pass-through crimp tool is required to attach these connectors, as it crimps and trims the excess wire in a single cycle.
