These shielded RJ45 modular plugs are designed for terminating Cat 7 twisted pair cable. The connector’s open-barrel style lets wires pass through and out the front, so the wiring order can be checked visually before crimping. Once verified, the connector is pulled back over the cable jacket and seated tightly at the rear, which shortens the distance between the wire twists and the contacts for a more reliable termination.
The one-piece design has no loose liners or load bars to lose or misalign, and the plugs work with either solid or stranded conductors.
