DB9 Male RS232 to Screw Terminal Block Adapter with Hood

This adapter converts a standard 9-pin DB9 male serial connector into a screw terminal block, making it easy to wire individual RS232 signal lines without soldering. It’s a simple way to break out a serial connection for custom cabling, panel mounting, or testing purposes.

The terminal block accepts wire sizes from 24 to 12 AWG with a 5.08mm pin pitch, and each terminal is numbered to match the corresponding DB9 pin for easy identification. A grommet with a 7mm inside diameter allows cable routing through the housing, and a wire clamp helps secure the cable in place.

A protective plastic hood snaps over the connection points to guard against dust and accidental contact, and it can be fully removed if the bare terminal block is preferred. Mounting screws and hex nuts are included so the connector can be paired with any compatible serial cable or device.
