Single Gang Old Work Wall Box, 2-3/4″ Deep, Blue

This single gang wall box is built for retrofitting outlets, switches, and low-voltage connections into existing walls or ceilings without demolition. It’s a common choice for home theater, security, data/comm, telecom, and CATV or satellite installations where cutting into finished drywall is required.

The box measures 2-3/4″ deep, giving extra room behind the wall surface for routing and managing multiple cables. Attached rotating clamps secure the box into a cut opening from the front, so installation only requires a drywall saw and a Phillips screwdriver – no access to the stud cavity from behind is needed.

• Single gang size
• 2-3/4″ depth
• Blue plastic construction
• For existing (old work) wall and ceiling installations
• Front-mounted rotating clamps for tool-free anchoring
• Suitable for telecommunications wiring connectors
