This double-gang wallplate creates a flush, recessed opening for routing low-voltage cables behind a flat panel TV, amplifier, or other audio/video equipment. Instead of running cables through a standard outlet-style opening, the recessed design lets cables pass directly through the wall for a cleaner look with less visible slack or bulk.
The plate mounts to a 2-gang low-voltage mounting bracket (sold separately) and can be installed either upright or upside down. For flat panel TV installations, mounting it upside down is recommended to keep the cable opening oriented toward the floor.
- Size: Double-gang (2-gang)
- Color: White
- Use: Recessed pass-thru for low-voltage cables (audio/video, power)
- Installation: Requires a separate 2-gang low-voltage mounting bracket
- Orientation: Can be installed upright or upside down
