12 Inch USB 2.0 Mini-B 5-Pin Male to Female Extension Cable

This USB 2.0 extension cable adds length to an existing Mini-B connection, letting you position a hub, camera, GPS unit, MP3 player, or other Mini-B device farther from the host port on a PC or Mac. It connects a standard USB Mini-B 5-pin male plug to a Mini-B 5-pin female jack, so it works as an extension rather than a standard device cable.

The cable uses 24AWG wiring on the power conductors to help maintain stable voltage over the run, with only pins 1, 2, 3, and 5 wired (pin 4 is left unconnected) per the USB Mini-B extension standard. It supports USB 2.0 data transfer rates up to 480Mbps and is compatible with USB-equipped keyboards, mice, modems, printers, and other peripherals.
