3.5mm Stereo Audio Keystone Insert, Block Connector, White

This keystone insert provides a standard 3.5mm three-conductor female jack for wall plates, suitable for both two- and three-conductor (stereo or mono) audio connections. It’s a straightforward way to add a 3.5mm audio port to any keystone-compatible wall plate or patch panel.

The rear of the insert uses a punch-down style block connector for quick termination to unterminated Cat5, Cat3, or any solid or stranded 20-26AWG UTP or shielded wire – no soldering required. Solid wire is recommended for the most reliable connection, though properly twisted stranded wire can also be used. For mono (TS) connections, simply leave one of the spring blocks unconnected.

Common uses include extending headphone or microphone jacks to a wall plate, routing audio from a PC sound card or portable media player, and connecting IR repeater cables.
